The detail on the top of this 1980s-era office tower on the North side of W. Broadway, just East of Hemlock Street, looks like it was inspired by some species of gaudy brass lamp sold in a big box store called the Furniture Barn; the sort of thing a salesperson named Walt will assure you is "very classy!" Still, gaudy can have it's moments. Here it reflects the glory of the sun setting in the West. Click the images to enlarge them.

Real Windows can be just as difficult as the eponymous OS, only better. Here we're peeping through a garage window; on the far wall is a really big Canadian flag. What looks interesting, but understandable, to the eye, becomes inexplicable to the camera. I wouldn't not even crop these photos. Click the images to enlarge them.
