Behind the West side of South Granville Street, Just a bit South of the intersection with 10th Avenue. It's Friday night; all the noise, and activity is on the street side. Here in the back alley, it's peaceful, and quiet. Behind the window, a fan spins silently. The security light stutters, as if in time to a sound, audible only to burglars.

I rarely see these garage doors open, and then the garage is usually full of cars. This "time-lapse" uses two photos separated by nearly a week of time. Only after I composited the two did I see that the building had painted a yellow stripe across the uneven pavement in front of the doors -- so observant.

Think it's supposed to be a mushroom. I call it Mushi. All the while that I'm doing this, by the way, it's squeaking up a storm. Don't think I'm done with it, by a long shot. Muahahahaha!

Usually this sort of sign is three feet by five feet, with three inch high black letters on a fluorescent orange background. How's that old expression go -- "Walk softly, and carry a big stick?" Geez, Louise, those must be big dogs!

This Mini Cooper and New Beetle have been cohabiting, or "keeping house" as the saying goes, in a Fairview parking lot for months now. I think they were made for each other. Click the image to enlarge it.
