


The detail on the top of this 1980s-era office tower on the North side of W. Broadway, just East of Hemlock Street, looks like it was inspired by some species of gaudy brass lamp sold in a big box store called the Furniture Barn; the sort of thing a salesperson named Walt will assure you is "very classy!" Still, gaudy can have it's moments. Here it reflects the glory of the sun setting in the West.
