What's this "X-Ray" button on the camera?

I rarely see these garage doors open, and then the garage is usually full of cars. This "time-lapse" uses two photos separated by nearly a week of time. Only after I composited the two did I see that the building had painted a yellow stripe across the uneven pavement in front of the doors -- so observant.
