Santa wasn't saying why he was inside a container blue bin -- perhaps some very lucky children will be getting bottles and cans for Christmas this year!
But since he's present, It gives me a perfect opportunity to join him (and Google Translate) in wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

An upscale neighbourhood like Fairview always has to be on guard against ne'er-do-wells. They can be anywhere: on the streets, in the back alleys -- even on the roofs.
And that's exactly where I spotted these very suspicious-looking characters -- on the roof of an apartment building at 12th Avenue and Hemlock Street.
