Don't know what this business with the can was, besides a homemade fix of some sort on a garage door in East Fairview. It's an artifact now (I think). The can is open on the bottom, and shelters a hole. Again I haven't a clue. When I look at this, I think about the person who had the problem, hit upon the idea of using a tin can to solve it, and competently fabricated their idea -- the result's a bit rough around the edges, but it's square, and true, and fits. Strange, they neglected to paint it. Notice two of the screws are newer than the rest. Click the images to enlarge them.
