I saw this spider's web a few days ago, but the darn things are all but invisible in bright sunlight -- good for the spider. When I saw fog this morning, I knew this was my chance, assuming it was still there. It was, but even in fog, when the world is all midtones, a spider web still does too good a job of blending in. But, if too much bright sunlight on a clear day is a problem. A camera's flash on a foggy day is the solution.
To flash or not to flash, that is the question

Doesn't seem to work with galleries. Not only have I "cut-n-pasted" a snippet from a famous quote, I've taken further liberties to use the common mis-quote -- it's not "Oh, what a wicked web we weave..." but "Oh, what a tangled web we weave..." And is that Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Plato, Walter Scott?
