I'm sitting inside the Waves coffee shop drinking in the sights. I can see a customer outside on the patio sidewalk seating. He has his iPad in his lap, his dog is at his feet, and on his iPad -- he's using the forward-facing camera to watch his dog, cuz ... well, it's the 21st-Century, and he can -- and pets can't take their own "selfies." His beautiful dog is named Tinto, he's a Mexican Rescue Dog. Click the image to enlarge it.

Suburban coyotes are moving into Vancouver's densely populated neighbourhoods, like Fairview (see the sign above), drawn by three of their favourite things (in no particular order): Pets, pets, pets.
