In this previous post on how Fairview renters fill the lanes with stuff when they move -- to the delight of binners, and the dismay of building managers -- I made mention of discarded mattresses -- they're big, don't fit in dumpsters, and are hard enough to dispose of that they'll linger in a lane for weeks, and ... they can be home-sweet-home to bedbugs, those annoying, bitey creatures who are also jumpy, to a distance of 10 or 20 feet. So no one likes to see mattresses in the wild, but here are pictures of just two of the many I've seen in the last few days. Click the images to enlarge them.
