A town called Toyota

Posted by Unknown

The residents of this little community in Fairview are very forward-looking, but still old fashioned in that they they stick with what they know. And just because they don't talk with strangers, doesn't mean they're stuck up -- quite the opposite, they are all stuck down -- on the top of an old Toyota -- with epoxy. And if that sounds restrictive, just consider the view they get to enjoy, and all that healthy fresh air -- it does a plastic toy good.

And it's not just the top of the car that's covered. Someone has aspired to cover every square centimetre of every body panel with durable, plastic, whimsey.  Funny thing -- either this car really gets around, or there's another similarly affixed automobile in another part of Fairview. But I only ever see that one in a yard, in the dark. This one's much easier to see, and appreciate. Click the images above to enlarge them.

The other car in Fairview, I mentioned -- done up with stickers
Here's a Vancouver car that makes this one look like a blank canvas
