Here comes the long dark night

evening falls quickly now

Still hot. hot. hot. during the day, but the pleasant coolness of the evening is a sign of what's coming. What's clearly going, besides summer-in-general, are the long days; darkness is now falling between 9:30, and 10:00 p.m.
